Tokyo Pipe Co.,Ltd.(Mr.Shizutaka Yamamoto president, head office located in Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced that sole contract manufacturer Capital Line Industries Limited in Dongguan, China has been approved as an authorized SG factory registered by the Consumer Product Safety Association as of March 27, 2000. Currently, they manufacture only Tiltil Mitil T1P and T1K disposable lighters and these have been registered as mentioned above. The production of T1P and T1K lighters commenced last August and the products were inspected as SG lot cargo several times. Consequently, Capital Line was able to obtain an SG license in 7 months. Mr.Wong Tze Kee, the chairman of Capital Line, visited Japan recently in order to sign a contract between the two companies. Mr.Yamamoto said,“The authorized SG factory is currently only manufacturing our original designed Tiltil Mitil products. All their products stand up to our high quality standard, including SG, and they are being distributed to any clients with trust. We are always considering presenting unique value-added products to our consumers”. Mr. Kee told the press in Tokyo concerning the SG factory registration that, “We are very delighted to have obtained the SG registration after strict inspection. We are now planning to complete facilities producing advanced and competitive products at prices that appeal to consumers”. At the moment, the factory has 230 employees and manufactures 2,500,000 Tiltil Mitil T1P and T1K lighters a month.
